Street parade “The Garden of the Hesperides”

In the garden of the Hesperides, which was located on the Canary Islands, the Hesperides guarded the tree of golden apples together with the dragon Ladon. This golden fruit conferred immortality, and stealing it was one of Heracles‘ twelve labours.

GIANT DRAGONS

In Greek mythology, Ladon is a dragon guarding the apples of the Hesperides.

Ladon was a hundred-headed dragon that in the garden of the Hesperides guarded the tree of golden apples.

2 inflatable, three-headed, 20 meter long dragons with lighting.


HERACLES

Heracles is a Greek hero famous for his strength.

One of his twelve labours was to steal the golden apples from the garden of the Hesperides.
